Pivotal is something which is central, vital or very important in relation to the development or success of something else.

Joseph Pilates created a training method known as “Contrology”, it is now widely taught as Pilates. There are many versions of it, at Pivotal Pilates, I train using the most traditional form of Pilates, staying true to his work. We don’t change the Pilates Method, the Pilates Method changes us!

My pedigree in training terms, is one of the purest you will experience. I am a 3rd generation Pilates Teacher descending directly from Joseph Pilates. He passed his knowledge on to his protégé; one of those was Romana Kryzanowska, who taught sisters Amy and Rachel Taylor – I started my journey in Pilates over 20 years ago. I then added to my training by becoming internationally trained with The Pilates Center in 2013, and also had the privilege of going to TPC in Boulder, Colorado USA. It was amazing to train again under the Taylor sister’s and their fabulous team to become part of their Training Programme for me to train others. I still have on-going training with them both to date.
